Congrats Qtip, You did your part..Minnesota is only one behind Washington now for tomatoes over 7 pounds. Your are also better by .02 over Porkchop's best. Better kick it into gear next year Steve. I am somewhat disappointed though, Dan gets 7.425 from a 27.5 inch tomato and you get 7.07 from a 28 inch one. Is Washington's water heavier?

Sure I will take a tanker of Walla Walla water if you toss in a truckload of Walla Walla soil. I know Qtip will be generous and match your soil with a truckload of his magic soil. That should help my 8 inches of top soil over beach sand alot. Just need to buy a bobcat and I will be all set.

Thanks guys - I'm pretty excited :) I just posted the final measurements 27.5" was the final circumference. I guess the panty hose added a little more than I thought. The ultimate goal was of coarse to beat porkchop which I did by a miiiiiiiillllllleee!!!! 27.5", 23", & 22.5 are the 3. Also - I am completely down for driving to walla Walla and grabbing 500 gallons of water. Lol wheeeeeee anywho what a fun tomato!!!!

Bnot don't lose faith, he just needs to measure it correctly, the 22.5 is wrong, the tape should be in the middle of the tomato where it is smaller.

Great mater Qtip!!! Bnot the fudge factor I have this year from 15 giants is.000474. If you use that it should be closer. Also, from just my 4 Giant Domingos, an average factor of.000441. Domingos really appear to be less dense for whatever reason. Whoa that seems to be an over correction.
