Anyone else growing this one ?
Seedlings have been interesting to watch.
I have 16 tomato seedlings growing right now.
All but 2 - 4.80 Wixom slammers growing beautifully.
They are growing, but very strangely.
Upon sprouting the stems took on a bent posture.
I'm talking like a z shape.
Cot leaves were purple for the first few days,
Now the seedlings look like they have been wind blown.
Leaning in one direction with the leaves stretching in the opposite direction.
I potted them up to a bigger pot and planted them deeper to straighten them up.
2 days later, same thing.
Will try to post a picture.
Was just wondering if anyone else was experiencing this.

I have 1 growing, it is growing pretty straight though if I recall.
It is out in the tomato bed with a WalloWater around it.

What are you using for soil? I'll try to take a look at your diary.

Yeah biddy goat I haven't made one yet this season.
Didn't finish last years.
I just moved a couple months ago,and trying to get settled.
Had to cut up a new patch on top of working, soccer practice and games for two kids !
Plus my honey do list is a mile long.
Seedlings are in pro mix ultimate.
Seems they have straightened a bit today.
I would wonder transplant shock if they hadn't acted weird from the start.
And then the fact that it was just those 2,same seedline, and the other 14 tomato plants were growing beautifully.

Going to start my 4.80 tomorrow, the parent plant was normal and grew a smooth tomato, so maybe its just a coincidences?

I grew a 4.8 this winter hydroponically. It was one of the fastest growers of foliage. It looked normal but was a bit later in setting a tomato. Since it is a F1 hybrid, every seed is going to be different.
