Meanwhile, i look at my golf ball size tomatoes and think maybe this will be the one for a personal best 1 pounder

Wixom, did you find my entry to be offensive? I did not mean it to be. I hope you grow a 10 pound tomato. I simply wondered if you had checked the bottom side of the tomato to make certain it was one since from the picture I could not tell. Immediately Q Tip jumped on me saying my cup is always half empty. Whether my cup is half empty or half full, at least my deck is not missing any cards. Good luck with your tomato. May it live a long life and produce something you can be proud of.

Hi marv, this is gmay's tomato, not mine ? you have a point that it could be more than one tomato, i looked back at it when it was the size of a quarter and i really couldn't be completely sure ? only gmay can answer that question and im sure he will let us know when he picks it and weighs it !!! meanwhile its just nice to see a big tomato like that this early.

last night in milford michigan their was a pokeman catch at a flag pole in front of the police station, and sure enough a man wanted for breaking and entering was walking around at that flag pole in front of the police station and was arrested on the spot !!! be careful Qtip !!! LOL....(O:

This tomato is in what has been called a conglomerate configuration. It appears to be made up of 5 or maybe even 6 tomatoes fused together. If it keeps growing there is no reason this cannot make 8 pounds. If I were you I would sing to it every night and play country and western music in the garden all day long. Tomatoes like this don't just come along every day.
