How are everyone's crosses doing right now ?
any particular cross standing out ?

SLAMMER
MEGAZAC
MEGADOM

Im finding the my 2 megazac are the biggest plants and both have gaint ribbon vine mega blooms.

my megadoms fast growing plants one smaller ribbon vine megabloom and shorter plant but still very promising.

slammers like my big zac's slower and smaller plants but a smaller bulkier type megabloom ??? i saw that last year with my big zac's last year too !!! but its the finnal result that maters, slow and stedy !!!

Early in the season my plants got a bit tall due to the weather. This means my blossoms for big are higher up on the vine. Some of my fertilized big blossoms are doing well while others seem slow. I think the slow to grow ones did not get enough pollen or at least not as much as they might have been able to use. It is early in the season yet so we will see.

My slammers are 3 ft. Tall and thick with nice blooms on them !
I have one megadom 4ft. And looking nice was a slow start but doing nice lots of megablooms!!!

I have 2 megazacs 4ft. Slow starter but same as megadom ,i dont know wich plant i like better lol got 6 megas set and we just hit 90 temps in jersey this week ,no ribbon vine on any but i will double check today , pizza

Ps. Marv do u still have that bear trap??? I moved im about a hour from you lol was planning on spying in yur garden lol hopefully ill see you at the weigh off this year !!!

have like ten mega tomatoes on but three stand out 21"+ 4.25 May, 22"+ 4.25 May and 23"+ on 2.45 May. Plants range from 42" to 48".

All three are big zac. my domingos (7.05 porkchop) one at 17" and 16" much latter sets.

I'm only doing 2 plant this year from my 5.30 that grew the 7.05 porker.
Still waiting for blooms to come in.
But very soon!

so far i have noticed that my Domingo and mega marv crosses are larger and faster growing plants than the big zac's and big zac crosses !!! but the big zacs have the history behind them !!!

Domingo plants get huge and the maters are big league huge... Bad news is They weigh MUCH lighter than the big zacs..still excited about the slammer cross...I'm liking what im seeing...

to early for me to say, just starting to set tomatoes on my slammers and maccoy big zacs at nipple high, but im distracted by my other big tomatoes to make any compairison. the plants are very different and i will know at seasons end what is best.
