Hi guys, it's been a while since Iv'e been on here reguraly. Ive allways bought tomato plants from the green house and they do decent, but every year I wish I work with something better. Iv'e talked with them and they will raise whatever seeds I bring them. I want to grow the largest that I can but still be edible. But every catolog or site I look at is better than the other. I know that there is alot of good advice on here.

Donskoi, West Virginia Sweetmeat, Japanese Oxheart, Polish Giant Beefsteak, Michael's Portuguese Monster, Epstein's Potato Leaf, Gold Medal, Phil's Fantastic, Slankard's, MegaMarv, Church, Domingo and several more are all giant tomato varieties (capable of 3+ lbs.) that are well worth growing just for the flavor! Not sure who spreads the rumors (or why) that big tomatoes are not good for eating - I've tried hundreds of varieties and many of my favorites are BIG ones!

Stop watering 2 weeks before you pick, it brings the sugar level up, tastes better
