5 + inches of rain did my tomatoes in. My largest off the 8.41 MacCoy still looked young and was growing when the plant wilted up died. It weighed 2.80 lbs unofficial. Opinions on saving seed from it.

The genetics should be fine, but you wont know untill you plant them if they were fully developed or not ? I say save them and do a practice plant to see if they pop up ?

never thought about the seeds not being fully developed. after i weighed it i sat it on the back porch rail and now it is almost completely red.

The seeds are continuing to develop as the mater is ripening. At least some seeds in it should be fine.
