Hi, I'm new to this tomato forum, so I apologize if this question has been asked before. I know I have rats eating my tomatoes (especially bad this year with Calif. drought). I don't want to use poison, as that affects anything that eats the rat. I'm leaning toward the big wooden snap trap, as that way I know I got them. Has anyone had success with the "rat zapper"? Any feedback appreciated! Thanks!

Thanks Porkchop, I am using the traps, but those rats are pretty smart about them. I usually get the rats Sept when my season is winding down, but with the Calif drought, that has changed their habits, as the tomatoes have heavy water content. It seems to be a problem this year for several nearby growers.
