One of my 4.57 Mac Coy tomatoes is forming a flat stem. 1" wide, 1/4" thick. There appear to be blossoms forming. Will post more in 10 days as plant developes.

Sounds like you have a huge mega bloom forming! As it starts to open make sure you vibrate it with either a electric tooth brush or i use a back massager.

My largest tomato at this time Godzilla began from a six fused bloom on a ribbon vine approx. 12 inches above the soil line.
You shouldn't be surprised if you see a very large mega bloom forming from that vine.
Just like what Master P. has said, be sure to increase your pollination success by using an electric toothbrush to vibrate the bloom thus releasing pollen.
Keep us updated.

Several of my giant tomato plants formed "ribbon vine" peduncles on the first flower truss. Only one has been growing, slowly. I just couldn't find enough pollen when I needed it. In addition to vibrating the flower once it's open, lots of extra pollen may be needed from other flowers to get some of the megablooms to pollinate fully. Good luck with it!

The vine has split into 3 . 2 blossoms and 1 stem. The blossoms are withering and will probably die. Hopeing for more blossoms up the new stem.
