Congratulation's on your 3.17 lb tomato!!
He states in his diary that it was grown hydroponically on a 4.5 Evans and is open pollinated.

Thanks. Far as I've been able to find it is. Nothing larger recorded in GPC. Fairs don't seem to keep records of past weights. Don't figure it will hold up. I know of some others going well in Madisonville and I figure yours are doing fine SMP.

Congrats. I would count it as the state record until I see a bigger one documented. Without records it just hearsay. The largest that we have currently growing is in the 2 pound range. It grew from a single blossom that I missed early on it is just about 5 inches off the ground. All of our plants are in the 4 ft range now and have a lot of mega blooms so Im hoping to get a good one going soon.
