I was thinking about trying to grow one inside this winter. Anyone ever grow a nice one in the winter months? Does it count for the gpc results?

On top of Brush Mountain, Pa.

People grow tomatoes inside all the time in greenhouses. Good luck.

Going Green

I have grown tomatoes in my den for several years. On January 1, 2011 the local newspaper took pictures and reported I was the first tomato of the year. The size of your tomato will most likely be far less than one grown outside with the right conditions. You can not beat the sun for growing tomato's. A grow light won't reproduce the results the sun does and it doesn't warm the soil the same either. The reason I grow indoors is to beat the odds and to have more of the seeds with quality genetics. Wish you luck!
