Hi- Has the majority of you chaps ever visited (The Tomato Depot) we have a great giant tomato growing forum over there, with some of the best names in giant tomato growing as members, very competitive info, all aspects of how to break the current world record gone into in thorough detail, several members have already cracked the five pound barrier and are going on to 6's and 7's, the Giant tomato section is headed by Marvin Meisner, one of the best know giant growers, the (Tomato Depot) also covers all other aspects of tomato growing in all forms and has some very dedicated members, more than 600 members now and growing all the time, everyone is more than welcome to join, especially would be Giant tomato growers who are looking for the best info on the web, very friendly and trouble free forum, just like this one.there is absolutely no reason why giant tomato growers cannot become members of both forums and benefit from it immensely with the pooled collective knowledge, and of course seed exchange plays a big part in the forum too.

Hi-Pizzapete, Yes-it is a very good site, but like a lot of other forums at the moment -the action is played down a bit at this time of the year, but come the spring it really takes off again with all sorts of interesting info going on, several of us trying to have a crack at breaking the current world record for the biggest tomato, and every aspect is gone into thoroughly, with all sorts of weird ideas and pros and cons, feeding, compost, light and heat, root boosting methods etc, with lots of photos and detailed instructions, and of course lots of seed exchange going on, some of the best giant tomato growers on the planet are there-yes even the famous Minnie Zac is a member :)
There is an air of determination to double the efforts to crack the long standing world record one way or another :)

Hi- Tomatonator That's why I did not recognize several of you already, as you changed your log in name to something else, but eventually I shall learn to recognize most of you.

Should immediately let you in. Are you still having trouble? Make sure you fill in all the blanks. Minnie had trouble too but it was because she left some things empty.

Hi-Phil & Jane, you should not have any bother signing up, it's almost automatic. If you have any further bother getting in after another try ? let me know and I will mention it to the admin section, especially when they know who you are by name alone :) they should throw open the doors straight away-
I will presume it works this time round and say -Welcome.

Hi-Phil & Jane, (second message today)
I have spoken to (Darth about it) he is one of the main chaps who runs the Tomato Depot, and he said he will purposely leave the site open for two full days-starting from today, so that you can complete the signing in process without any further problems. so all being well you should be fully fledged members anytime between now and tomorrow-I hope.
I am not too sure what he meant by leaving the site open on purpose for that to happen without problems, unless he means the fact that the website had a notice up saying it would be closed and down for a certain time each day for a few days especially so that on site maintenance and repairs could be undertaken ??? but anyhow you should not have any further problems on that score I hope :)
