I scooped out the seeds(7.33 Hunt over 2.5 lbs)with a melon baller & put in a pitcher.I added a cup of non chlorinated water.I remember we let them set to ferment. Was there anything we add to the water??

Water is all you need. But you might want to look into the oxyclean method for preparing seeds. Thirty minutes in Oxyclean and they are done. No muss. No fuss. Google it and I think there is even a video somewhere. Marv

im now a big fan of the oxyclean method after doing that last night. ended up with some amish paste and mr. stripey seeds trying to sprout on me earlier in the year when using the fermentation method.
