Still gathering mater seeds here, eaters and competition. Will be starting a lot of great seeds for other growers here, and might select what I'm keeping based on how stuff grows during the indoor rearing. :)

I just transplanted a spare (very slow germinating) Delicious (6.51 Meisner 2011) in my small heated hoop house. It has a small 3X tomato starting to form already!

I also moved my first 12 seedlings for the giant tomato contest into this same hoophouse.

Pics are posted at my blog, which links from my homepage:

I finally got 11 very overgrown tomato "seedlings" transplanted from 4-gallon pots into my 2' X 33' tomato bed:

Delicious (6.51 Meisner 2011)
Brutus Magnum (6.25 Meisner 2011)
MegaMarv (5.51 Meisner 2011)
Big Zac (5.35 Lyons 2010)
Delicious (4.46 Marley 2011)
Big Zac (4.20 Diaz 2011)
Big Zac (3.94 Pennington 2010)
Church (3.36 Perry 2008)
Gildo Pietroboni (~3 Kott 2011)
Hoy (~3 Kott 2011)
Big Zac (2.660 Thurber 2011)

This is 85 days behind schedule. Most are in pretty decent shape. The Brutus Magnum is the healthiest, while the Church is the tallest - about 5'. Hundreds of blossoms, dozens of fruit - lots of pruning to do...

Last night I finally finished getting 356 tomato plants in the ground at the microfarm. This includes at least 200 plants that should, theoretically, produce BIG tomatoes. It also includes 32 Big Zac, 9 Delicious and several other recent GIANTS. Not necessarily growing these for size, but I could be pursuaded if I see a really spectacular megabloom coming on!

Just updated by blog with the full list and pics-
