A tip on beefsteak/brandywine hybridization: trim the first couple flowers from the flower cluster. The flowers that will make your big fruit are harder to pull all the anthers out and not miss any pollen. Picking out the smaller flowers makes your hybrid a better chance at being a pure cross.
