Smiley only had like 100 seeds,is this normal? or was this a weak pollination? & why Smiley didnt get big?

Was it all meat? I know my Pink Brandywines only have 30-40 seeds in them. Low gel maters have hardly any seeds. My single bloom 3.24 lb(Big Zac) had hundreds.

How many seeds a tomato has relates to the variety of the seed. Some varieties simply have more ovules than others. Within a variety the seeds number can vary as well depending on how many of the ovules actually got fertilized. For some reason I am having a low seed count for almost all of my tomatoes this year. The very same thing happens with pumpkins. I can remember one huge pumpkin grown by Larry Checkon that had no seeds at all.
