Does this mean if I buy seeds that says this and save seeds that it may not grow true the next year?

MFM,for some thats what it means,if you mean big z some from f2 3 and so on may not be true but you will notice the ones that are not true pretty fast! save those seeds youll be fine with the BZ,I have f8 and there just getting better LOL. TT

F1 is the first generation, when something is crossed for a hybred. If you controlled the pollenation and set, the seed you save is an F2... etc. If there was no other tomato plants for a goodly ways, then the bees and buggies did the deed with the local plant... and you should be okay with planting your saves.
