Just wondering are they any good to eat? reason I ask is because Ive got 5 Giant matters this year 2 7.33 Hunts 2 5.0 Timms and I believe an 4.88 lyons seed id have to check tags but ya my plants have been in ground since May25th and they are growing like weeds I am starting to get blossoms already which is way too early for an Oct weighoff I was wondering how many of you eat your giant matters and are they any good to eat? I am hoping for a nice Megabloom come late July early Aug as Ive read they are done within 45-60 days and the weightoff is Oct 1st LOL

thanks
Dave

The tomatoes I grew last year were some of the best I have ever eaten. Big Zac and F2 hybrids. Pleasantly surprised at how good they were. These same tomatoes were also grown on competetion plants, you can have the best of both worlds.

One poster on another tomato site does not BZ tastes very good. Only problem is that that poster has not actually eaten a Big Zac. I think they are very good and so do a lot ov my neighbors and friends. Delicious has a pretty good taste but BZ are, in my opinion, exceptional. Marv

DaveM...fairly sure that GPC accepts non-weighoff site weights for Giant Maters! Check GPC rules to be certain, if you come across a giant megabloom, I wouldn't cull it!!! Hope this helps!! Peace, Wayne
