I see lots of tomatoes being reported and it looks like the Nick Harp 7.18 seed is not doing as well as had been hoped. I have not seen anything huge reported from this seed. The seed from Brandt Timm seems to be doing well for those who have it. What do you think will be the best seed this year as far as creating large tomatoes? Of course, it is not over. Don't throw away your Big Zac seeds just yet. Marv

Hey Marv,
Im new to tomatoes this year. I put a few plants in the ground and didnt give them much care but now that they have gotten bigger I'm hooked on growing giant tomatoes. I ordered your book the other day and Im looking foward to reading it. Next year I'll do better. I put in mostly Big Zac seeds this year and I have grown a 1.76, 1.75, 1.60 and a 1.25. Tiny I know but next year will be better.
Good Luck everyone!

john ciesielski 09 seeds from a tomato grown from the 5.58 timm 08 x self. not sure of the weight. got the seeds from glen. it has produced a 3.08 double banger for me, a 2.73 single for my buddy from work mark mills, and a 2.75 pounder for my buddy's mom. i have another one on the same plant that produced the 3.08 that i will weigh in the next couple days that should go close to 2.5 lbs.

The Harp 5.41 is producing a couple of nice ones for me. Out of 3 plants I put out 2 of them had multiple blooms so large I couldn't count how many was in it. And the largest is now 22" in circ. ( appx. 4 lbs) and is 4 weeks out from blossom stage.

Yep, the 5.58 Timm is doing very well. Grew a 4 pound tomato for Nick Harp. I'm sure there will be alot more big ones coming from it!

Hey Marv,
I wouldn't count out the 7.18's just yet. I have two excellent plants from them. One has put out a 3#11oz double that I picked off early and the two that are on are still on are very young but growing great. I can't believe how many megablossoms the plants put out.

I checked with someone tonight, 7.18 clone, and she is getting 2# plusers... told her how to tie up fruit so it quits tearing off.
Weighoff is getting more interesting all the time.
