I personally dont Like Giant Belgium, I just dont like the taste and I havent had any big ones.

I do like persimmon I have seen a 32 oz persimmon tomato

PS...for taste, I put Delicious on top also, but you were talkin bout Giants?....Big Zac is what ya want!!! IMHO!?

My largest tomatoes to date:
Big Zac = 4.83 pounds, and several over three pounds never had any luck with the hybrids I purchased from Totally Tomatoes, my best results from this variety have been from F2's, etc.

Church = 4.48 pounds and a couple over three pounds.

BelMonte = 4.14 pounds and one over 3 pounds.

Delicious = 3.50 pounds and several over 2 pounds.

I grew Giant Belgium this past season and had no luck with this variety. If I have space in the garden I will grow it again this coming season just to give it one more shot.

Even though I did'nt produce any large tomatoes off of "SuperSteak" I did have a few of the largest MegaBlooms I've ever seen on any variety I've grown in the past.

whats the best way to save tomato seeds ?? i saved lots of better boy seeds and dried them over night with a fan on them !!! hope there good ??? i heard about putting them in water and if they sink there good but getting that little membrane off them is tuff ??? i plan on planting 40 big zacks this year , yes im crazy!! love tomatos make lots of salsa oh my mmm!!! and plan on saving seeds so i can share with everybody next year do u guys have any tips ??? thanks pizzs pizzapete@hotmail.com

Pete, heres a link for saving tomato seeds. I have had success with this method and you don't have to worry about that membrane because it rots away. Brian

lol, I didn't see Duane's thread before hand. The method in the link I posted does have the merit of producing natural chemicals that kill any bacterial spot that might be on the seeds if the fruit was infected. I don't know if the oxyclean method helps with that or not though.
