Cherokee Purple has a unique flavor that I really like.
For Red Mortgage lifter is great too. There are a lot of barndywine that are really good flavored too. Big Beef are good. Belgium Giant. For low acid, and sweet flavor, Dixie Golden Giant are really good. Most Beefsteak types.
Actually I have not tasted any bad tomato from a home garden, only some from the store are nasty. The above really stood out with good flavor to me.
For Giant Tomato Big Zac taste good, very meaty without a lot of gew.

I really like the Big Zac offspring. Add a little sea salt and it's a meal. :)
