Does anybody think there are enough tomatoe growers to propose to Ken for a "Giant Tomatoe Growers Forum". I know there are some giant tomatoe growers, I think it is getting more popular, I ordered some pumpkin seeds from Don Langavin this year and I seen he now sells a Giant Tomatoe growing book, along with Giant Tomatoe seeds. I know I'm trying this year to grow a Giant Tomatoe. Thanks, just a thought.

I grew Big Zac, Deliscious, and Giant Belgian last season as those varieties with propensity for....size. I'm growing at 6840 ft. elevation. Biggest I got were two pairs of tomatoes and each off the same Big Zac plant. Took both stem-pairs to local grocery's deli and were scale weighed totaling 2.98 #'s and 3.32 #'s. No new world record out of my garden last summer. ( I think that record is about 7.1 #'s from the Deliscious variety).
Is that book you referenced the one titled "Giant Tomatoes" by a Marvin Meisner, M.D. ?

I like this forum. I only have room for 2 AG plants, and they are limited at both have under 300 square foot to grow in, but I do have room for a lot of tomatoes. They grow "up" on the pole, not on the ground, so even gardeners with limited space can grow truly giant maters.
