What temperature range do watermelons need before being transplanted into the garden?

It's been my experience that if you want the plant to hit the ground running 60 degrees or more. They will tolerate cooler but growth slows considerably.

Thanks, it is appreciated. I knew that there was a difference from the minimum temperature for survival, and the minimal temperature for growing a big one, and I didn't know which was which.
