OCTOBER 12-14, 2018 and I think (someone please correct me if I am wrong) the pumpkin weigh-off is the first day and the melon weigh-off takes place the second day. I have been there one time to watch Chris get his world record melon weighed and had a awesome time. A great time for attendees this year is almost guaranteed too. Be there or be square ! LOL Best contest in the country with lots of things to see and do. If you have children to bring they will love it, IMHO. I am sad to be on the other side of the world and unable to attend, but someone is trying to arrange a live video feed of the weigh-off for those unable to attend. Go and meet Joseph and Fiona and take a few pictures or some video. New world records are just so much more awesome to see in person!
