I have a small plant with a 40 pound melon dap 37 the tendrils are brown, but do I wait till the fruit stops growing?

Deal With It

Usually, it's not done until the stem turns brown. I just finished a 130-pounder which put on its last 40 pounds after the tendrils turned brown.
