Any of you all ever run into a melon that was full of lumps and bumps like this thing. If you have, did it end up being of any size? Was it solid inside? This melon is off of a 297 Kent Plant and is growing really well to date. Thanks for any input.

My 270 Neptune is lumpy and bumpy and pear shaped and crooked. One side is fat and the other side is skinny. However it is the best melon I have so we shall see. After ruining everything else I had to go with what I had left. It is measuring close to 100 pounds at approximately 25 days post pollination today. I am hoping it will hit 200 pounds by the end of August.
