Subject: lopes and melons

posted this on the lopes page but no response so maybe someone can answer me here. I have 25 gal plastic container tubs can I grow lopes and melons in them? iknow they will run out but will the tub hold the roots good or is it to small? Be Blessed.. treetop

I think that would be fine for average lope, but not sure how it will work for gaint lopes. I grew a 10 long cucumber vine witch produced just fine in a 10 gal pot, so its wortha try !

I think it could work if you keep the nutrients up in the pot feeding.

you can, just depends on how big a fruit you want. they will need water maybe twice a day in the heat if the plant is any size to do well & special nutrients.
