Hi, this is my first year growing a giant watermelon and I'm just curious what a good day 10 circumference measurement would be. I start pollinating tomorrow and want to know what to look for in a keeper. Thanks!

All of the 200+ pound melons I have grown were between 68-85" OTT at day 10. Which is a wide range. Just pick the best you have in comparision to the others on your plant and role with it. The last 30 days makes the difference in a good melon and a great melon.

Ditto what Jake said. My range is 64-80. 64 went 251. 80 went 199.

I 3rd the above. The 10 days will be a big range. You look for steady ott growth after day 10. The end growth is very important. Keep the plant healthy,
