I know Lloyd Bright grows Blue Rind melons. He can probably help you. I am guessing they taste similar to a Black Diamond and that would make them excellent eating melons.

They are good but I personally don't think they are any better than a Carolina Cross for eating. They are really pretty and offer something different to look at.

then they are not worth growing, i think the melons round dark green or striped seedless melons are ten times better tasting than cc
