If you do get a few of these seeds, you would be very wise to check with your local agricultural extension service and get advice before planting the seeds. The extra large watermelons grown in recent years in KY, TN, NC, and MI all have known disease control and also have OTT measurements that are as good or better than the world record's OTT measurements.

Gabriele must grow really solid melons. lol He now has a 326.7 The old record 291 has been eclipsed by nearly 36 pounds. Way to grow Mr Bartoli.
