im taking next year off from pumpkins and going to give the melons a real shot cant find much info on what kinda fert program most use and what kinda numbers you shoot for in your soil test thanks

I might want to see that program also, I will probably try to grow a melon plant or two next year again.

Mark, you have to admit you have done very well following your heart and instincts. Your 260.5 was one of the largest melons ever grown. I think maybe you should keep going with what works for you. After all, every garden and melon and melon grower for that matter, is different.
