Ita a good thing that I had a couple females pollinated while I was on vacation, because all the pollinations that I have attempted this year would have been a bust. Now since we have entered into a heat wave, all of my male flowers are dry and hard inside. They all look to have dark, dried tips internally, where the pollen would usually be.

I had same problem then I started protecting the males with shade/ice/fan....worked out good.
