I think whatever the creatures are they are going to my drip hose for water. I saw them a few separate times today around the patch, and other areas that are watered. Will they get enough water from the hose or will they start chewing on vines? It has not rained for a month and a half. There are also frogs everywhere they came up out of the swamp when it dried up and are all over the place near the hoses.lol

Squirrels will tear your vines apart to get moisture in a drought. Shred is a good description. How about a birdbath in corner away from pkns? Maybe set a sprinkler up on a timer to lure them away?

Right on Glen. We put out containers of water outside the patch when the weather becomes very dry. It helps keep the rodents out of the patch. Good luck.

If you put a bucket of water out with a small piece of fabric going into it on a small stick, the mice will climb up it to get a drink, fall in the bucket and drown. That is my mouse trap method in the patch.
