Chris in your past growers diary looks like you used some carpet to stop grass and to hold moisture in. what was the good and the bad of useing it? Thanks, Jerry

good = stop grass and to hold moisture .
bad = spotty vine rooting, nonething to anchor vines to =they move/roll around in the wind untill the spot is covered.

p,s. carpet must be upside down

I used some one time it really compacted soil too.
