Chris, I am just wondering if your hydro melon was solid or hollow inside. The reason I wonder is that this melon received it's nutrients in a very unconventional way. And so if it turned out to be solid I would think this would possibly be an indication that what we feed our plants has a direct connection to how solid or hollow a Carolina Cross turns out.

keeping in mind that it was a small melon , there was a small hollow area in the middle. if it had gotten to full size(250) then the hollow probally would have been like most of the others.
