If anyone else is interested in playing around with grafting Carolina Cross plants, I have just ordered 1,000 Shintosa Camelforce seeds from Champion Seed Company to be used as rootstock.It will probably take me about a week to receive these seeds. Anyway, if you are interested in some of these at my cost, just drop me an email and I will get back to you. I believe this root system will cause the plants to grow much faster in cool spring temperatures. I also look for better disease resistance and larger melons. Anyway, that is the type of results they have been getting from field trials of this new hybrid rootstock. And I just want to again say thank you to Nathan Okorn, who has been so helpful in providing information and who will be growing grafted plants for a lucky few of us.

The 1000 seed order arrived today and I am putting one bubble in the mail tonight for 150 seeds.
