does anybody want to give me any help in growing gwm

i need to know how many fruit i should pollinate and how long should it be when i polinate and what food should i give it and any other tips

Pollinate as they open each day,wait 1 hr or so till stigma has a glow about her.generally about 9 to 11 am,I have pollinated as late as 12:30.If soil is good with amendments,I dont fertilize the first few weeks,Pick 3 or 4 melons on plant & watch for uniform shapes,I cull early down to 2 melons & then one,some wait longer,there about soup can size when I cull as to not waste growth,some wait longer to get fastest growing melon I didnt do this,I wanted an early start.When I do feed its 1/2 strenghth at best,maybe 3-4 feedings a season.You will kill melons or slow them down with the Hot & heavy methods some use on kins.

i to am looking for info on gwm growing. i grew pumpkins last year. rookie year 924lbs. can i use the same techiques on gwm as gp? is this the 1/2 strength you are talking about?

Im finding Im getting bigger fruits,with less fertz,I WAS following old school methods.I think we were burning plants up with fertz,NOW ,I only used 20/20/20(water soluble).through drip tape every 3 weeks starting in July & stopping early sept.I used 1/2 bag(small bags)4pks. in a box.4-5 gallons to about 300 gallons of water.I grew my first 1000pd. kin with only that.No foliar,very little fertz.Ken Sweet said it,its in soil why add more.made sense.This year I will try soil drenchs(disease issues)& use foliars.My goal in 2012 to be in top 3 kins in GPC I think I can do it,if I can keep her healthy.
