my hats off to mr marv. he and i have been good friends
for 16 years now. he has produced one hhh of a seed in his
255. it gave me a 267 and todd a 282 chris a 260 and
mark has agood one going on it. there have also been several over 200 out of it. i cant think of anyone that wouldnt want to plant a 255 next year. thank you good buddy and im sure everyone in the melon world thanks you also

Yes, nice seed. I have grown a couple in the past, biggest plant I had was a 255. I would grow it again next year, but no way I'll be able to afford them at the auctions, they went pretty high last year even...

The 255 has grown my biggest melon so far this year. It was only 179.5 but considering the weather and the grower mistakes I made; I think it's a wonderful seed. I have 2 seeds left and very much want to continue growing this fine seed line. My hats off to Marvin Mitchell who has helped out so many young growers with some of the finest seeds in existence.My hat is also off to you too, Bill Edwards. Your generosity is much appreciated. My 285 failed to set a melon early on and the 230 produced a melon that will go only in the 170's but both could have grown much larger melons if I had been on my toes a little more.Again, thank you for sharing guys.You are making great contributions to the sport.

Bill, my best melon is actually off another Mitchell seed. My 231 Mitchell will be weighed next Saturday at Allardt. It's not monster size but it's clearly my best melon this year.Marvin is a great breeder and has helped me tremendously this year. Thanks again Marvin.

Yes the 255 has growen some great fruits
If the good Lord stays with me (he has given be a blessing this year) there just might be one more nice melon from the 255 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
