Kirk set a personal best this year in the most extreme weather you can imagine. Most growers would have thrown the towel in after 90 days of 100 degree temps but he keep everything going. Congrats kirk and hopefully next year will bring cooler temps and atleast a chance of rain!

Thanks Yall... This was a surprise... But a good one!! I had set my goal at 200 this year I didnt make it , but you know i had alot of fun trying... Hopefully i'll have a better hand to play next year..

Seems like you definitely get the toughest watermelon grower of the year award,Kirk. We get that weather a few days here and there. I don't know if I could keep my morale up. I hope you get a break next year.
