Hello.
I've had a less than great year so far. I planted several seeds, but only about three came up. I did not use special germination techniques, and we had some very uncooperative weather in April. Of those three, two survived. Today I went outside and found the better plant of the two snapped mostly in two below the seed leaves. I guess the wind might have got it, I'm not really sure. It was a pretty little plant too. I don't figure it will work, but I splinted it up with a cotton swab and tape. I figure there's mot much to lose at this point.
I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I was hoping to get them planted next week, but now I only have the one plant. It's too late to start more seeds, isn't it?

If you get them started soon there should still be time - figure 120 - 150 days - so there is still time could always go with the one for now and start a couple more.

Yoshi, are there not any growers with extra plants close by? Most growers are happy to share if they have extra.

I hope it's alright, I asked about plants on the board.
I would like to save the injured one, if I can though. It was a nice plant before it broke, and it still appears to be growing. I was thinking of cutting it clean from the stem and attempting to (re-)root it with some rooting hormone. Is that possible?
