I bought 8 Sweet Crimson plants, and I never grown melons before...but do they grow pretty simple and fast? I planted them about 2-3 weeks ago and it doesnt seem like they've grown at all. I know its still kinda early and all esp with the way the weather been...Is there any other attention they need beside keepin them watered?

It takes about 5-6 wks for them to start running good from the time the seed was planted. That's with good conditions. If it's cool & cloudy it can take longer. If your plants look healthy be patient, with some sun you'll be enjoying mellons before you know it.

OK, most of plants have died out and now I gotta replace them. I have like 2 plants that survived the rain and couple of days of cold weather. Any tips on how to keep these sum bitches alive long enough to see fruiting?
