I know the idea probably makes most growers cringe, but I have been moving plants around my patch all season so far. I have had several plants that were very questionable due to bad weather and grower mistakes. It about broke my heart when my 239 Leonard died and my 267 Edwards is about the size of a pea right now and appears it won't make it. I have moved my 285 Edwards back into the patch and today I moved my 291 Kent back into a good spot. I gave it the spot that was occupied by my 194 Brinkley. The Brinkley is one of my biggest plants and about ready to start running. I got my biggest shovel and cut a big circle around the plant and got the plant on the largest shovel full of dirt I could find and moved it into a waiting hole I had dug where the 291 Kent had been. I know I cut a lot of roots off the Brinkley, but truthfully the plant never wilted. Maybe I was just lucky. Anyway, so far I haven't noticed much problems from all the moving around.Any of you other growers have any comments about your experiences moving plants around in your patch? Or am I the only grower who is dumb enough to try it?

Hey Mark, that 291 Kent is a really nice looking plant. Wanna trade? One of my problems has been I have been trying to conserve my seeds of limited number and better genetics. I should and in the future will attempt germination on 3 or 4 seeds of each one I want to grow even if it means I won't have them for next year. Heck, I may not even be here next year. And new good seeds are always coming along.

I'm jealous. Well, I guess I'm just gonna have to out work you I guess, Mark. I do have some good genetics and nice plants though; so I think I'm still in the game. As it now stands the 12 plants with a space to grow in my main garden are: 211 Boyette, 267 Pleasant, 197 Leonard, 211 Leonard, 285 Edwardz, 230 Edwardz, 231 Mitchell, 255 Mitchell, 113 Kent, 291 Kent and 2 100 MastersonZ.This is going to be fun. :-)

That wouldn't take a lot for me as my PB is only 207.But I am still hoping for a lot more.
