Do melons need shade cloth like AG's in a hot climate or do they like more sun? Thanks for answering a rooks question.

Yes I believe most shade them,In the cold North,I Like to let morning & evening Sun in .

the plant or the fruit? Yes you need to keep the sun off the fruit but in my opinion not the plant. Unless your temps. are above 98 degrees all the time . They like the sun.
