I started my seeds about 10 day's ago and already I can tell that it is a double vine. Is this much of a problem with watermelon? will it possible grow out of this? Or does it not matter at all? I planted 2 and only this one came up and it's a 239 leonard seed so I want to make it work if at all possible. Please let me know what I should do. Thanks

I had a double watermelon vine 2 years ago. I let it go and it grew out of it after about 6' or 7'. It went on to grow a 181 pound melon.Your experience could be different though.

I would say if you have another nice plant or are willing to wait on a replacement to grow then go ahead and replace this one with a no problems plant.

I've had one too. It was a finger, I didn't set the fruit on that vine. Seem to make no difference.
