The 182 blanton 03 grew a 196#blanton in 04 dont know of anything else it has grown.

That would be mine. It grew my 196 that was pretty neglected through out it's lifetime. Very little watering or ferts. I believe it's the same cross as the 219 Edwards?? Let me know how it does if you decide to keep it going...

Mr just Bill Dewight is correct it has the same cross as my 219#. And it was neglected. Its already up so go for it.It could be capable of many 200#+ melons or even a 300#.

Well im going to try it if it makes it, the roots are trying to grow up and out of the soil. crazziest damn thing i ever seen. could be my fault, dont know if you start seeds flat or pointed down like pumpkins, this one was planted flat.. well lets see what happens...Bill
