It certainly has been nice for the past several days in eastern Tennessee. I have been working on my soil every day for the past week or so. Soil work for me is slow as I don't have a tiller. I love working outside anytime the weather is nice. I'm afraid there is over a month a winter left though and even come spring there is still the threat of a late season snow storm.I got my fingers crossed for continued mild weather though. (:

janet,yes it is getting close the robin's have left here.white clover and wild oions are coming up in the yard.it was 77 here.watch out for #16 sunday.

We hit 45 yesterday, but it's colder today. I am starting to think about spring. I even ordered fruit vines and trees. I will even be growing Kiwi this year. Just call me radical.

Robins don't dare come up here too soon, since 3 foot of frost prevents worms from getting to the surface.

We mow it with the snow blower,I plow my sidewalk 247 feet!Well the guy that plows my driveway does.we have 2 months before we cut grass, if lucky!

We also got nailed with another 12 inches of snow, but frankly, we still had 12 inches of heavy icy/snow on the ground before that.
