Has anyone sent out any bubbles this year? Just wondering on how much the post office is charging so I'll know how many forever stamps to put on the bubble.
Thank you, Mark G.

In the US, bubbles are considered to be packages and not simple envelopes. Postage on packages depends on weight, size and distance sent. There is no longer a simple answer to your question. It is possible to go to the post office website and calculate the postage, though it is not the easiest website to navigate.

It costs me from $5.35 to $5.85 at a local NY post office using a Size 0 (6" X 9"? I'm out, lol) with 2-3 coin envelopes within, each containing 6 seeds or so in one letter envelope within to keep them separate with a fold in between. Trying to save me $.50 cost me MORE, lol! Hope this helps. eg

It was $5 last year on bubbles, 1st class package for most anywhere from the midwest. It will be a little more this year. Haven't sent any out this year. Regular stamps went up to 73 cents. Everything will go up.

I just mailed out 60 bubbles. I filled one of my orange ones (6”x9”) with 10 seeds and used Rhode Island to California as an example. USPS said $6.05. Then it was $1.50 to mail the Manila envelope containing the bubble from California to Rhode Island. So $7.55 total. USPS rates for packages have gone up about 15% this year per USPS so don’t use past rates to mail this year.
