Is it good for pumpkins up to 1500? Or just 1200-1300? And 2k pumpkins need a 5x5 platform? Might grow bigger one than I usually do... we'll see. Thanks.

I went with 5' by 6' this past year and even grew off the sides! I remember when 4' by 4' was more then enough! lol

Nice. Yeah I'd rather err on the side of too big but I'll probably just pack some dirt around it if it needs more than 4'. I wont let the thing split because it was not sufficiently supported... and my dirt has never caused rot problems. Thanks.

4'x 4' is what I have. I figure scab some more on or dump more sand around the edges. If I could get one to grow off a 4 x 4 I'd been thrilled. Glad to hear your thinking big Gritty :)
