I'm planning to set up drip irrigation next season. I've heard lots of people talk about PPM and percentages for fertilizing at intervals from daily to every two day etc. No one ever actually says what the "secrete sauce" is, i.e. PPM's of what or % of what. What do most folks feed on an interval basis and how many ppms or % of mixture is fed. Any info at all would be more than what I have now.

Drip irrigation is just a method of irrigating just like a watering can or sprayer or whatever. The ppm or % that you're feeding is the same no matter what method of irrigation you choose. The fertiliser ppm is determined by the results of your soil test, and water test if you do one.

Mobeymike's videos? Patons said they fed heavily this year. I think that means keeping the soil at like 2,000 to 3,000 ppm? Maybe more. I think the nitrate will cause the plants to wilt easily though so thats probably a no-no. You'll have to verify anything I say, it might be bs.

^ oops I think I meant EC electicical conductivity (soluble salt) not ppm? I'm still too much a novice to be trying to answer your questions!!!

There is no correct amount to fertilize. It depends on a lot of different factors, including soil fertility. Tissue tests are the best indication of what you need. I just figure out what I need, make an adjustment to my fertilizing, and ensure the electrical conductivity of the solution as a whole isn't high enough to damage plants. Most people seem to think 2.0-2.3 is a good upper bound, others think lower. I've tried as high as 3.5, but too much salt is not good for plant tissue or microorganisms.
