I figured that most people do not send in their registration cards and therefore might not have received the notice. Stihl SR 430 and SR 450 manufactured between March 2020 and May 2021 have a recall for the flywheel assembly.

My local Stihl dealer replaced the flywheel for free on my sprayer. The recall states that no reported incidents have occurred but that quality checks showed that cracks were found on flywheels of a certain serial number range.

Anyway, just a heads up if someone wants to get an upgraded flywheel during the off-season.
