Just wanted to thank all of you again, I know most of your screen names but others I do not. Thanks to all who helped put this together on very short notice and sticking around to keep bidding even though it was getting late. Thank you all who made donations of all shapes and sizes and also thanks to all who bid and bought seeds.
Samantha and her family have been going thru a terrible time in the passing of her father and the money situation was not well, as he was the sole provider for him and his wife, samantha has been helping them keep the lights on and has been doing the best she could. She was afraid she wouldn't be able to grow pumpkins and watermelons with the said conditions. But now I believe she will be able to continue to do what she loves to do and grow giants.
This auction has to be a record of some sort with the final tally of over $11,100.00 dollars between auction bids and also cash donations from you all. Not only have you all permanently changed her and her families lives but you have also changed mine, because there are still a whole lot of good people in this world and most of them are in our giant growing community.
Lastly, I hope that if the situation ever arises that we will be able to help any of you as much as you have helped us.
Thanks to all,
Nick AND Samantha

I am glad the auction was successful. The generosity of this community does not surprise me. Now, the fact that the server did not completely crash, THAT surprises me! I don't think I ever saw so many people in chat at one time before! Congrats to you and Samantha and good luck going forward.

Thank you so much for your generosity Ken, without you none of this would be as possible or would it have went so smoothly
